ToiletTree's water-reservoir fogless mirrors need warm water in the reservoir before use. The reservoir is part of how the mirror works, not just a mounting feature. A foggy reflection and droplets sitting on the surface are also different problems.
This guide replaces One Scrappy Mom's 2011 “Holiday Gift Idea: Fogless Shower Mirror” page. The original giveaway listing identifies the brand as ToiletTree. That contest is closed. The exact 2011 model has not been established, so the current models below are not presented as the original giveaway item.
First identify the mounting system
The standard wall-mounted mirror with squeegee and travel mirror are separate products. The travel version uses suction cups; the wall version uses an adhesive mounting arrangement. Do not follow a travel-mirror mounting video for an adhesive bracket.
Separate the mirror, water reservoir and mount

Using the reservoir
ToiletTree's standard-mirror instructions say to fill the reservoir with hot shower water before use and empty it afterward. Warming the mirror helps reduce condensation. Use the supplied squeegee for surface droplets; the company says the reservoir system does not require an anti-fog chemical coating. Standard model information.
Use water as directed by the manufacturer, not boiling water from a kettle. Avoid balancing a filled mirror on an insecure mount. If it leaks or will not seat properly in its bracket, stop and resolve that problem before returning it to the shower wall.
When the reflection is still poor
Start with observations instead of buying a spray:
- Identify whether the issue is fog, droplets, residue or a scratched surface.
- Check that the reservoir was filled according to the directions for the model.
- For droplets, use the provided squeegee as directed.
- For persistent haze or damage, photograph the surface and ask ToiletTree about cleaning or replacement. Do not assume a cleaner intended for ordinary glass is appropriate for the mirror material.

Mounting and removal deserve their own instructions
Check the wall material and the product's mounting directions before installing. Choose a position you can reach comfortably to fill and empty the reservoir, rather than a spot that merely looks centered. Follow any stated preparation and waiting times for the supplied mount.
Do not yank a loose bracket off the wall or substitute an unidentified adhesive. Ask for the removal method appropriate to your mount and finish. An adhesive described as water-resistant is not a guarantee of damage-free removal from every painted, tiled or coated surface.
