The Mockingbird Car Seat Adapter connects compatible infant seats from ten major brands to Mockingbird Single and Single-to-Double strollers. The important part is choosing by the exact car-seat model, because Mockingbird currently sells multiple physically different adapter families.
This chart was verified against Mockingbird's live model selector on August 23, 2026. Manufacturers add and discontinue seats, so recheck the official adapter selector immediately before ordering.
Do not buy by brand alone: Britax models use two different adapter families. A B-Safe adapter selection is not the same as the selection for Willow S/SC.

Mockingbird's current page describes compatibility with more than 50 model variants. The apparent count changes depending on whether color/trim generations and grouped names are counted separately. The exact model list matters more than the headline number.
Which strollers accept the adapter?
The current Car Seat Adapter works with all generations of:
- Mockingbird Single Stroller; and
- Mockingbird Single-to-Double Stroller.
For one infant, remove the toddler seat and click the correct adapter into the frame attachment points. Then attach the car seat using its normal release/connection mechanism and perform every manual-required pull or lock check.
The adapter can remain on the stroller for folding according to Mockingbird's current instructions, but confirm the exact adapter and stroller manual in case guidance changes.
Mockingbird with Clek Liing and Liingo
Both Clek Liing and Liingo use the dedicated Clek Adapter. Do not select a generic Maxi-Cosi-style adapter simply because another stroller brand groups Clek that way.
The Liing and Liingo appear on Mockingbird's current single and twin-compatible lists. Read our Clek Liing owner's guide and broader Clek stroller-compatibility chart for limits and setup details.
Mockingbird with Nuna PIPA
The current selector groups these seats under the 4-in-1 Adapter:
- Nuna PIPA;
- Nuna PIPA RX;
- Nuna PIPA Aire; and
- Nuna PIPA Aire RX.
Some original PIPA models are no longer sold new but remain supported on the compatibility list. Match the exact name on the car-seat label—do not assume every future Nuna infant seat will use the same adapter.
Mockingbird with Chicco KeyFit
Current compatible Chicco seats use the 5-in-1 Ring, including Fit2, KeyFit 30, KeyFit 35 and listed ClearTex/Max Zip variants.
“KeyFit” is a family name, not one permanent shell. If the model label includes a suffix not shown in the chart, ask Mockingbird before ordering.
Mockingbird with Graco SnugRide
The listed Graco seats use the 5-in-1 Ring. This group includes a long list of SnugFit and SnugLock variants plus GoMax.
Graco names are especially easy to misread. Compare the entire label—including Lite, SnugFit, SnugLock, LX, DLX, Elite, XT and anti-rebound-bar wording—with the current selector.
Mockingbird with Britax
Britax is the clearest reason not to shop by logo:
- B-Safe 35, B-Safe Gen2 and B-Safe Gen2 FlexFit use the 5-in-1 Ring.
- Willow S and Willow SC use the 4-in-1 Adapter.
If a resale listing simply says “Mockingbird Britax adapter,” ask for the molded adapter name, product label and original order information.
Mockingbird with UPPAbaby
Aria, Mesa and their currently listed generations use the dedicated UPPAbaby Adapter. The standard single-car-seat setup works for every model in the chart.
For twins, Mockingbird excludes two UPPAbaby Aria seats and two Mesa Max seats from its double-car-seat configurations. An Aria or Mesa Max can still be used with a toddler seat in an infant-plus-older-child arrangement.
UPPAbaby Mesa 2020-or-newer, Mesa v2 and Mesa v3 remain listed for twin use with two adapters and the required 2nd Seat Kit.
What do twins need?
To use two compatible infant car seats on the Single-to-Double frame, Mockingbird says you need:
- a Single-to-Double Stroller;
- the 2nd Seat Kit, which creates the double attachment positions; and
- two correct Car Seat Adapters.
Do not mix adapter families unless each individual car seat calls for that family and the exact mixed configuration appears in current instructions. Load and unload riders in the sequence described in the stroller manual to maintain stability.
The one-seat-only Mockingbird Single Stroller cannot become a double by adding adapters.
Installation checklist
- Confirm stroller model: Single or Single-to-Double.
- Confirm car-seat brand, complete model name and model year from the label.
- Select the adapter using Mockingbird's current model selector.
- Read the stroller, adapter and car-seat manuals before assembly.
- Remove the stroller toddler seat when the configuration requires it.
- Insert both adapter sides until each is fully locked.
- Attach the infant seat in the permitted orientation.
- Perform the prescribed pull/lock check before placing the child inside.
- Keep the infant harness correctly adjusted while strolling.
- Stop using the setup at the car seat's height, weight or developmental limit.
- Recheck compatibility before using a second adapter or new stroller generation.
What if the car seat is not listed?
Do not force it, use a “universal” strap product or assume a similar model clicks the same way. Contact Mockingbird with the exact model number and manufacturing date. An unlisted future model may be awaiting validation—or may have a different attachment geometry.
For newborn alternatives that do not keep the baby in a car seat, compare the Bassinet and Infant Seat Insert in our Mockingbird accessories guide.
