It’s officially started!! Today the ADSR 4 started. I am so happy to be playing in this race. I feel like I am on top of my scrapbooking game with this. I just hope that I don’t lose site or creativity along the way. Hopefully I will be okay and I have my partner to keep my going and give me a kick in the butt. So far it’s going well. I did my first layout today for the challenge. It was to use a picture that was torn at least 3 times and include journaling. This is the layout I managed to scrap:

I just decided to relax and get some of my supplies unzip and organized. Blythe and I are getting ready for the ADSR 4 that starts tomorrow. I made the blinkie and finally got it done tonight. *blush* I ran a little behind on that. I am going to add it to the side bar and link it to our ADSR blog, but don’t worry I will be posting all the ADSR stuff here too so you can see it. You won’t miss out. Alot has been happening and I know that I’ve sorta  been MIA and my blog has been neglected but I promise I will be back! I just had so much happen in real life I had to take some time off-line to deal with all of that. It’s hard, but we all get through it. We are NEVER given more then we can handle… and I know that… So I know I can get through all of this… Anyhow… here’s our team blinkie:

Hehe!!! It’s the first post of 2009! It’s super odd to write that for some reason. Wierd. I don’t know why. I had intended to go out last night and celebrate.  I am so bummed. I had the money and a babysitter. We had plans. I woke up yesterday feeling… not well… *cries* So we ended up staying home and staying in. I know that was the better decision. I wanted to go out so bad though. We haven’t celebrated the New Year OUT in SOOOOO many years. I can’t even tell you the last time we have went out on New Years. Oh well… Enough about that. My birthday is soon *wink*

The kids stayed up until 11pm and watched the ball dropped. New York, Time Square… so that was cool. It was the first year they were big enough to understand what was going on so they thought that was cool. They went that was cool. It was alot of fun for them… Mike & Liz were here with the baby. They bought party hats and horns so the kids loved that! We had lots of snacks and played Battle of the Sexes. Let’s say the girls kicked ASS!!! Of course!!

I am craving Dr  Pepper today. I don’t know why… that and donuts from Kwik Trip… ugh… After this I am going to need some serious diet pills. We’ve all decided to lounge in our sweatsuits today and do nothing. We’ve watched Disney’s Aladdin and now The Wild. Just lounged all day. It’s been a nice and relaxing day.

On the scrapping front I am getting ready to start the ADSR #4.  I am racing with my girl Blythe… You can check out the race blog here. So I promise, you will see some scraps, SOON!! Okay on that note… I am out!! See you soon!!

It’s the last post of 2008! And let me tell you it won’t be a very lively post LOL… Take out your travel insurance as you ride into 2009 with me!! LOL I don’t have too much to say. The kids are driving me INSANE and I can’t wait for them to go back to school. SOON!! Monday!! What a lovely day that will be!! They are doing pretty good, but it’s getting to be were they fight more then they play and they really just need the structure of school again. So I a break. I’ve slept more of the days away then anything! Thank god my hubby has had some time off. I need the help! LOL
