Contest Information

Contests at OneScrappyMom are all sponsored by the company or PR firm representing the company. As such, there are some rules that must come into play as a standard. All winners are chosen at random using a WordPress plug-in. I do verify every winner. They MUST have completed the mandatory entry and the winning entry must also be valid. If it is not, a new winner will be drawn randomly. Winners have 72 hours to reply to a winning email. If you have not done so in that time frame, a new winner will be drawn. Please be sure to check your SPAM or Junk email. Sometimes emails end up there. I have no control over that and I recommend if you are a sweeper or entrant of contests, you regularly check these folders.

Each giveaway post will contain the following:

WIN: Prize description – this is exactly what you will win. If there are questions, contact me.

MANDATORY ENTRY: Entry Requirement – You MUST do this entry FIRST in order for your additional entries (if available) to be valid. This generally sends you to a site and come back with some information. Please make sure you comment with this entry and information.

EXTRA ENTRIES: Extra Entries for The Contest (if available) – These entries allow you extra changes to win. In order for them to be valid, you MUST complete the mandatory entry and report back. Extra entries will specify what to do, how many entries for each extra chance. You need ONE COMMENT for EACH ENTRY! Extra Entries vary by contest, but may include the following:
- Subscribing to OneScrappyMom by email or RSS reader
- Like OneScrappyMom on Facebook
- Follow OneScrappyMom on Twitter
- Tweet about the Giveaway (Please use the quoted tweet. It contains the proper @names and #hashtags)
- Follow SPONSOR on Twitter
- Like SPONSOR on Facebook
- Stumble this post using Stumble Upon (You can use the share button at the bottom of the post)
- Add the OneScrappyMom button (code in sidebar) to your website. Be sure to let me know where it is.

DEADLINE: This is when the the contest ends. The contest always end at 11:59PM CST on the given date. I reserve the right to end a giveaway early or extend it late. There can be several reasons for this happening. Generally things end exactly as posted, but I work with Sponsors and have to make their deadlines!

Additional Contest Information:

Winner emails are drawn and sent the same day. Winner has 72 hours to reply. If no reply is received, I randomly draw a new winner. If the 2nd winner doesn’t reply within the allotted 72 hours, the prize is donated to a NON-PROFIT Charity of my choice. All winners are posted on the Winner’s Page. If the prize is unclaimed there will be a Charity Name it was donated to.

Any entries that say “I want to win” “Neat prize” “Enter me please” will be deleted. If they are missed, they will not be eligible as a winning entry. The guidelines for entering are clearly listed and any questions can be sent via Contact Form. Please note: This also applies to Facebook page comments stating “I want to win” “Neat prize” “Enter me please” are also not eligible entries and will be disregarded.

Please allow 8 weeks (2 months) for your prize to arrive. Prizes generally arrive much sooner, but allowing ample time is appreciated. If you have NOT gotten your prize in 8 weeks, please feel free to contact me via Contact Form. I will contact the sponsor to find out the status of your prize. I am NOT responsible for lost or undelivered prizes. Please note: The prizes are shipped directly to you from the company. I have no control. This has NOT been a problem in the past, but I do need to put a disclaimer on that.

Every post contains a disclosure and tells you what company sponsored it.

I do at times receive compensation for reviews/giveaways in the form of a product or cash. Even though I receive compensation for posts or advertisements, I always give my honest opinions, findings, beliefs, or experiences on those topics or products. The views and opinions expressed on this blog are purely my own.
