Back To School Guide 2010

Welcome to the 2010 Back to School Guide by One Scrappy Mom!! I’ll give you the ‘must haves’ for Back to School this fall! I’ve searched high and low for the best products to share with my readers. You can rest assured that you are getting quality products, that have been approved by both my 9yo daughter & 6yo son and labeled “must have”. Please check out the sponsors sights below as it is impossible for me to list EVERY amazing product they have, but I’ve listed my favs here:

Oliver's Labels

Oliver’s Labels are a MUST have for back to school! They are also great for camp, daycare and other things. You can label virtually anything with Oliver’s Labels. They are a full color, waterproof graphic, personalized with your child’s name! The special process in which these are created guarantees that the image will NOT rub off, looking as beautiful years from now. When I send my kiddos back to school I have to label everything, from gym clothes, to backpacks, to crayon boxes. It has helped MANY times when the kids things have been “lost” and they have gotten returned! The labels are eco-friendly so I am confident in my choice to use these to label all of our school items!

Carolina Pad

Carolina Pad has the neatest designs for back to school. Carolina Pad really makes school and office products hip and fun. Carolina Pad was founded in the United States in North Carolina and has evolved through the years. Carolina Pad has trendy products such as notebooks, binders, Composition Books, Planners, Accordion Folders, Tab Dividers, Journals, Pens, File Folders, Desktop Calanders, Calculators, 1 subject Notebooks, Ideal Books, Personal Books and 2-Pocket Folders. You can get everything coordinating! Or if you prefer, we got 1 style for each of my daughter’s 4 subjects. This makes things easy for remembering and grabbing from their locker or backpack. Kids Konserve

Kids Konserve reusable waste free lunch kit is the perfect kit for keeping your lunch safe, stylish and staying green! These kits come with a completely washable lunch sak, a reusable water bottle (only in the waste free lunch kit, not the snak pak), a reusable fabric napkin, a Stainless Steel Container (2 in the waste free lunch kit), and a reusable food wrap for your sandwiches! This is by far a kit with my 9 year old and my 6 year old. They are both eager to start the school year and use their lunch bags. I honestly feel GREAT about sending them off with these because we are helping the environment and teaching them young that helping the environment is great! Find more information on Kids Konserve online! Save 15% on your order through the end of August using the code ‘school‘ when you purchase!

ecousable
EcoUsable has water bottles that are earth friendly and reusable. My children are always required to bring a water bottle to school and for the first year this year I think I am safe to say these will be the only water bottles that they will have through the WHOLE year. In the past we’ve purchased them cheap plastic ones, that fall and break. These are stainless steel and very safe. I love that they are earth friendly as this seems to be a great trend as well as helpful to our earth! EcoUsable also has ‘My Name Is” sleeves for the water bottles which is PERFECT for labeling them for school. They come in many sizes so they are perfect for everyone in the family. The wide variety of bottles also have many different tops. There is a sports top, filtered top which gives you filter tap water and the traditional top. There is also straps you can get for these that will allow you to wear them around your neck or attach them to a backpack. I love the straps because I know they can take them on field trips and even to the park and not lose them! Check out all the EcoUsable products on their website! Use code ECO10 and save 10% off your purchase!! Visit them on Facebook and Twitter!

Frecklebox
Frecklebox has always been a favorite for us here at One Scrappy Mom. It’s only natural for us to love their products because everything is personalized! I love sending my children to school with the personalized products. They get a lot of compliments, but I can also be assured that a misplaced notebook, folder, clipboard, lunch tote and more will be returned to my children. I love my personalized paper for writing notes to the teachers or staff. Personalized products are also perfect for us moms! We have so much less to label!  Frecklebox has all your back to school needs taken care of with their personalized items. Check out all the Frecklebox products on their website!

New BalanceNew Balance has been making comfortable and stylish athletic shoes for years. They are also the ONLY company producing athletic shoes IN the United States. This means we are giving back to our own communities when purchasing their products. I love the amazing straps on these shoes. They are stylish but yet easier for the smaller ones to get on. They are velcro wraps and they work GREAT! My son is a huge fan of them. Any on the go child would be! These are the perfect shoes for back to school, gym shoes or just everyday running. You can see all the New Balance products on their website.
