8 years ago a very special man left my life to enter Heaven. I never understood why God needed him so soon, but as my recent accident happened, I know he was a large part of my being here today. My heart still does and always misses him. As his grandson is getting ready for a wedding, it makes me even more sad. One day we will meet again.. Until then I carry him in my heart! I love you and miss you so much uncle! No one could ever replace you! <3

Most of my readers know that on January 22, 2012 (this year) my family and I were in a pretty severe accident. I have no doubt in my mind that all of my angels were there that day (including my grandparents) but for some reason, even though I remained awake and alert through it all, I felt this sense of ease. I felt lifted. I felt it would be okay. Everyone kept telling me things didn’t look good, I was a mess, I had multiple injuries (I blogged it here if you missed it), but I felt okay. I wasn’t hopeless and I felt someone by my side. Shortly after my mom arrived, then my aunt (my uncle’s wife). She said there were angels with me and not to stop fighting. I believe that my uncle was very much by my side that day and several days after that. This is the hardest thing for me. All I want is one moment, one photo, one more conversation. I know he’s around, but I really would love a sign. Something.. I want to my son to know you (he was just 3 weeks old when you passed away). I want my daughter to be able to know her God Father and be able to ask you the questions she asks me about you. She remembers you. I’ll never let her forget you! EVER!

I miss you Uncle Al. I miss your ability to set us all straight. I miss your smile. I miss your snicker when you farted silently and waited for one of us to smell it. I miss the way you took us fishing. I even miss the way you yelled at us when we took a wrong turn or did something stupid. I just MISS YOU!

You are forever loved and missed!!

I absolutely adore Belle! My favorite of the Disney princesses and my favorite of the Disney movies. I am glad that my kiddos love the movie as well. I love these add on bonuses that fit right in with the original movie!

Last month I traded in my iPad for the iPad 2. I wanted the extra features, that included the camera. In getting my new device, I was pretty lost without my ClamCase.
