My Daughter Is A Scrapbooker!

I guess that I really shouldn’t be TO surprised because after all, I am a scrapbooker myself. I recently found out how much my daughter LOVES scrapbooking. The last few days we’ve went shopping all around and we managed to get some great deals. I dusted off most of my old supplies and organized the scrap area and let my daughter have at it. I am not really all that surprised that she’s falling in love with crafts. She’s always shown an interest into my crafting and I don’t mind at all. She is a tween and doing things with mom is becoming uncool, so anything that I can do to engage with her is even better!

The last few days we’ve been looking around for online coupons to use at the craft stores and save. My daughter has even found this fun and she’s been looking at different stores and price comparing for things she wants. I told her that if she really wanted to replenish the supplies of things, she needed to be cautious and save her money for things. Since I’ve converted to digital scrapbooking the supplies have been sitting and collecting dust. I am glad that she is enjoying them and I can’t wait to see what creations she makes. She’s very crafty and I’ve seen some of her pages, so I think this is a good outlet for her. She also has friends that are into scrapbooking so they are having a little crop day today. She just went shopping for some supplies yesterday and she’s having a blast with her friends getting everything all scrapbooked. I love having a crafty child and I love that we share a hobby! Nothing like her having 2 days of school off during the week (conferences at school) for her and I to bond together over some scrapbooking!
