It’s October! We are in full swing for the fall season and it couldn’t be better. I LOVE the pretty colors that fall brings. It is however cooling down outside and that means that I need to have a nice warm drink to keep me warm and snuggled. This month is also National Fair Trade Month. In 1990, Green Mountain Coffee Roasters Inc was among the very first roasters to sell Fair Trade Certified Coffee. The Green Mountain Coffee brand now offers one of the largest selections of Fair Trade Certified coffees in the country.
To help spread the word about Fair Trade, Green Mountain Coffee and acclaimed musicians Grace Potter and Michael Franti are celebrating in a big way with “Great Coffee, Good Vibes, Pass It On” – an awareness campaign that celebrates the good vibes of fair trade through free concerts and an opportunity to win a trip to source. As part of the campaign, Grace and Michael were invited to Colombia and Sumatra respectively, to get a first-hand look at how Fair Trade makes a difference in the lives of coffee farmers – and in the coffee you’re drinking.
That’s right! I have a giveaway! One lucky OneScrappyMom reader is going to get their very own Keurig Mini Brewer in Bright Orange and a pack of Pumpkin Spice K-Cup Pack!
