Review & Tour: The Hoover Windtunnel Air Bagless Upright Vacuum

Hoover Logo, Hoover, Hoover VacuumRecently, I got to try out the new Hoover Windtunnel Air Bagless Upright Vacuum. I was actually very surprised with this vacuum. I have a high end brand vacuum that we usually use, but there are a number of cons against it, which sent me looking for something that had a similar amount of power, better access to my attachments, was simple to use and was bagless. I found all of those things with the Hoover Windtunnel Air Bagless Upright Vacuum.

Of course one of the first things I did was a vacuum before the vacuum test. I vacuumed my entire house with my current vacuum. Then I went over the same areas with the Windtunnel Air Bagless Upright. I was SHOCKED and speechless at what was pulled out of the carpet with the Windtunnel. It’s amazingly powerful and has a great amount of suction. The canister was full of fuzz and dirt. While it was shocking I can say that Hoover Windtunnel, Hoover Vacuum, Hoover Upright Vacuum, Hoover Bagless Vacuumwith the amount of suction this vacuum had, I was expecting it would pick up what my other had left behind. There is no doubt that this little vacuum packs a lot of power. This also would make you think this vacuum is heavy and not as lightweight as it actually is, which is another HUGE plus because it can be easily moved.

Another major benefit (at least in my case) to this vacuum was the ability to have the attachments at my finger tips. At first when I removed things and had to put the attachment on, I was a little fumbly and it was a little discouraging. However, having used the vacuum for over 2 weeks now, it’s second nature and everything snaps together really easily. The size of the canister is a little small, but it does hold everything that is picked up in my 1500 square foot home without having to empty in between. There is a filter which can be an issue for some people, but this particular filter is washable, so it’s much easier then a vacuum with expensive filters (or bags) that need to be replaced. Because there is no filter to replace or bag to get and the attachments are at your finger tips, the vacuum is a time saver.

When comparing this vacuum to others, it does have a nice compact style and size. It would work for a small apartment all the way up to a larger home. It’s also pretty light, which means it’s workable for stairways and other areas where you would need to carry the vacuum. This vacuum is even simple enough that my preteen can use it when she is cleaning her room or to vacuum the house for me.

Overall, this vacuum is a wonderful machine and is priced VERY reasonable for everything that is included. You have all the attachments, you don’t need bags or filters. It’s a one time cost and you are set. The hoses for the attachments are included and so far have shown to be pretty durable.
