I am excited to share with you all that I have teamed up with U by Kotex and their Tween line. I have a tween at home and the discussions that will be happening in the next few months, including all those personal details. Of course as a mom, I know some of the hardest discussions we have to have with our tweens & teens is the private, personal and serious discussions. While I don’t have a cut and dry answer on what will work for you and your tween, I am going to offer some pointers and tips that I’ve learned as well as things that U by Kotex Tween is helping with. This is a sensitive subjects, but when approached in a matter of fact way that makes both you and your tween comfortable, the conversation doesn’t have to be awkward!
Keeping my daughter informed about the changes through life was something that I always wanted to keep ahead of. I never wanted her to get information at school or from friends that I hadn’t already shared with her. In the coming months, we will talk more in depth about the products and what she (you) can do. You can visit Kotex.com/tween for more tips on how to have this discussion with your daughter. U by Kotex Tween is an amazing brand that takes the boring and perhaps even embarrassing items you need and puts them into a fun, colorful and cheerful packaging! It’s a wonderful concept. Having your period is a change, but it shouldn’t be a change that makes your tween feel uncomfortable or sad about. Talk to your tweens. They are more open to listening then you might think!

I dread this day with my daughter…
