When I was younger, my parents never really put any thought into my shoes or footwear. I basically go what I wanted and it didn’t matter if they were uncomfortable, bad for my feet, etc. As an adult I suffer from a number of problems with my hips and lower back. I am NOT saying this is 100% related to my footwear, but I do whole heartily think that it was a factor.

When I had kids, I was very selective and careful about their footwear. Once they learned to walk, they were in name brand shoes. Of course I caught a lot of slack from my family for this as they felt it was a waste. I however, knew there was more to the story and I didn’t care what THEY thought. I wanted my children in comfortable, stylish, healthy footwear.
