Flip Flop Wines

Flip Flop WinesFinding a good wine can be a challenge. Finding an affordable wine, even more of a challenge. These days it seems that quality is something that is really hard to come by, and with the rising costs of everything, it’s no wonder. Flip Flop Wines has an amazing and affordable product! We recently tried the Riesling and Pinot Grigio wines from them. I was actually pleasantly surprised when I opened the bottles. Since the suggested retail price is $7.00 I just expected the wines to be average. After all, $7.00 doesn’t buy much these days! The price tag fooled me!

I am a fan of the sweeter wines, so the Riesling was really my favorite. My bottle of Riesling was harvested in September of 2010 and released in January of 2011. The alcohol volume is 13%. We served this after dinner the night that we had it. Although you can have it with dinner, we just opted to have a later evening drink and enjoy it. Served chilled the taste was just right! It’s sweet with a peach, apricot and melon flavor which has a smooth taste. Flip Flop Wines

The Pinot Grigio was a little drier. This one we served chilled with dinner. I think serving this with food was better for this particular wine because it is a bit drier then the Riesling. It is however, intended to be. You could drink it by itself as well. The alcohol volume is 12%. Mt bottle of Pinot Grigio was harvested in September of 2009 and released in January of 2011.

Both of the wines were quite the bargain for the price tag. In addition to this amazing price tag, with each bottle of wine sold, Flip Flop Wines will donate a pair of shoes to Soles4Souls. Soles4Souls is an amazing organization that is putting shoes on children’s feet so they can attend school, reduce the risks of many serious health conditions, amputations and even death. Flip Flop’s dedication to the cause is helping put shoes on more then 100,000 feet! You can help simply by purchasing their wines! You enjoy your wine and a child will enjoy shoes! How awesome is that!

Flip Flop Wines can be purchase online at Underdog Wine Merchants (they deliver!) or at your local Spirit and Wine Shop. Here I have also found the wines at some of the local grocery retailers. The wines are available nationally. Please consider following Flip Flop Wines on their Facebook and Twitter pages and don’t forget to try these amazing wines!! You won’t be disappointed!!

Flip Flop WinesAs always, please remember to drink responsibly when you are drinking these or any other wines or alcoholic beverages.
