Ouch!!
What a not so great way to spend your time but great to still be positive about it!
YIKES! Looks very painful!
It’s great to see you so positive.
So sorry you have to do this twice a week forever. Any thoughts on getting a port a cath, since you have to do this so frequently? Thanks for sharing.
Hey Virginia, A port is not something that they have talked about. I am familiar with them though because my dad had them for Chemo treatment. I should ask about that!
I would definitely ask about it at your next visit with the doctor. A port would just make a lot of sense considering you will have to have 104 infusions a year. Unless of course the enzymes are contra-indicated for a port.
I think I’d opt for taking a nap during that time! ;)
AH! Yes, I love my housewife naps!! BUT because I have an empty house from 8:00am-3:15pm everyday, I can nap whenever now.. LOL They aren’t as fun anymore!!
Ouchie!
You must have good veins! It is great you have a positive attitude about it, it makes everything so much more easier to deal with.
I drink ALOT of water!! I think that helps my veins! At least I hope it does!
Ouchies! If you don’t mine me asking what is it for?
Melissa, I have a condition called AMD {Also more commonly known as Pompe’s}. It’s a muscle disease and they need to do enzyme infusions to help prolong and/or the stop progression. :)
What can all of us do help you through this?
Sending luv your way!
Deborah, Just coming here and reading helps me through! My blog is a great past time for me and I love being able to share with my readers! Thank you for the support!
Inspiring! Thanks for sharing.
Wow, that’s a lot to go through every two weeks. You ARE a strong woman.
Thanks Tiffany!!
So sorry you have to go through all this, but at least it gives you an excuse to get waited on on and put your feet up.
YES!! I love it! They bring me juice, crackers, nutrition bars and juice at my very call! Nice to get waited on ;)
I’ve stopped by your blogs and viewed your WW or last post! Thank you so much for participating in this with me!
Not fun at all. You are a tough cookie.
