In the summer we have a lot of cold foods, like sandwiches, subs, etc. We’ve always been a fan of Mezzetta products! Although we use them in our sandwich and subs, I’ve also used many of their products in my other cooking, like chili and dips. Mezzetta is announcing their THIRD annual Mezzetta Make That Sandwich Contest. The grand prize includes $25,000 and an exciting trip for two to the Napa Valley, home to Mezzetta.
In addition to the Mezzetta Make That Sandwich Contest, Mezzetta has also enticed 7 celebrity chefs to create their own inspirational sandwiches recipes and compete against each other for bragging rights and a $10,000 donation to the celebrity chef’s favorite charity!
Mezzetta began in 1935 in San Franciso’s historic North Beach. It is not based in the capital of Nappy Valley, California. 
There are a ton of things that can me made with the Mezzetta family of products. While we commonly use them on sandwiches, feel free to experiment in other recipes. They work great in wraps. I love that they are jarred and ready to do. We’ve taken them in the cooler to the beach or the park. They are easy to add to your sandwich or what not. MUCH easier then cutting up and taking all of these ingredients!
