We’ve tried a variety of toothbrushes for the kids. I am always looking for something that will HELP them brush better and brush longer. Kid friendly products tend to do that as they draw kids attention. This is a good thing. Recently Arm & Hammer sent us the NEW My Way Spinbrush. This is currently only available for girls. I really hope they come out with a boys version as both the kids loved the idea. My daughter got to customize her Spinbrush with an assortment of over 140 stickers that came with the brush! There are pink and purple letters, princess themed stickers, loveable animals, fun phrases, rock star themed stickers , whimsical rainbows, flowers, peace signs and hearts. The stickers are completely water safe, which is GREAT and necessary for something that will get wet! The on/off button is a cute gem in purple, and the battery door is pink. The head of the toothbrush is kid sized and is white with pink accent. This brush is perfect size for ages 3-12. My Way promotes healthy brushing, reduces plaque and massages gums. It does run on 2 AAA batteries which come with the brush when you buy it.
My daughter had a BLAST customizing her toothbrush. I wanted to take pictures of her doing it, but she did it when I was gone and then when I got home was excited to show me. She’s been using this daily for a little over 2 weeks now. We are really thrilled with the product. It’s also durable, as my kids tend to drop things, this toothbrush HAS met our floor. I am happy to report that it is still working and shows no sign of hitting the floor. I think the spin on it is the PERFECT speed. We had brushes that spin {other companies} before and they didn’t work as great, so the My Way is a good improvement! This is a fashionable and cute toothbrush that is VERY unique. I can see why this would appeal to little girls, pre-teens, and tweens alike.

My daughter loves this! She is now brushing all the time without being asked! It’s so cute too. Wonder when they’ll come out with one for boys (though I don’t have a sons).

My daughter liked the spinbrush toothbrush but then found the Firefly light up toothbrush last week and ever since then she is hooked. This weekend one of her friends showed her this new video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YETs6u3CedI by David After Dentist brushing his teeth in the dark with the light up toothbrush. Now her and her friends brush their teeth together like 4 times a day in the dark. I guess their teeth will be really clean.
I really wish that they would make these for boys as well. I just saw the commercial on tv and went to the website thinking maybe they did have it for boys. Boys would benefit from these cool toothbrushes as well, im really surprised they are only for girls. My son has autism and isn’t that great at brushing his teeth, I know he would love to have a toothbrush like this.
