Wrinkle Away!

In today’s society everyone is talking about looking youthful. Whether it is skin care before problems or skin care after problems, there are solutions. I have to say that my mom is probably the biggest reason I am obsessive concerned with my skin. She didn’t take care of her skin and although she is very beautiful, she has wrinkles and unhealthy looking skin. She also smokes, I do not. I will admit, I am way more careful with my face then I probably need to be. I pamper my face. I do a full facial using natural products EVERY night. I use a night cream, day cream and an eye cream. Recently I noticed that I was getting a little “wrinkle” – I still won’t admit it’s a wrinkle, it’s a crease ;) – between my eyes on my forehead. Actually wrinkles can be caused by several things, including smiling, frowning and squinting. I think squinting is probably my number 1 enemy. I should wear sun glasses more often when I am outside. It doesn’t have to be sunny, just bright and I find myself squinting.

Recently I was sent some Frownies Forehead and Between Eyes Patches and the Rose Water Hydrator/Toner to try out. Frownies claims this is an effective way to diminish wrinkles without using Botox. Now, as my readers you know I am the most SKEPTICAL person out there. It takes a lot for me to believe a claim about a product. When the Frownies arrived and I read how simple they were to use, I thought “NO WAY!” There is just no way this is going to work. You take a little PAPER patch, spray some of the hydrator on it, apply it and wear it overnight and your wrinkles go away. Doesn’t that sound a little odd?

Well, I am going to tell you now, that I have to eat my words about not believing the claim made by Frownies. I’ve been using Frownies for 7 full nights now. I can SEE a difference. I am not sure what the MAGIC in this stuff is, but it does work. You should wear Frownies no less then 3 hours and using them every night for 30 days and then a few times a week after that to maintain. Basically, what you are doing is re-training your facial muscles. What I found interesting about this product is that this simple method was discovered to repair wrinkle damaged skin over 100 years ago! A century before Botox and with NO injections or toxic chemicals. This is really an affordable solution for ANYONE. Botox is so costly that very few people can afford it. Frownies is affordable, they want everyone to remain youthful and beautiful looking skin! Frownies Facial Patches are made of natural, unbleached paper with a vegetable based adhesive. The Rose Water Hydrator Spray is a safe, sterile solution that contains vegetable glycerin and rose water.

As I said, I’ve been wearing Frownies for 7 days now and I can tell the difference already. I can’t wait to see the full 30 days, but I am VERY happy with the progress! My husband has noticed the difference as well. I am even more excited that this is natural and chemical free. I want youthful looking skin and I do take care of my skin. It’s healthy and happy for the most part but I am very happy to know that there are products to assist myself and others in the process. While Frownies does take some time to work, you are retraining a muscle, it’s a very effective Botox alternative. If a quick fix is what you are after, Frownies will not work. Remember though that a quick fix is not everything it’s cracked up to be!

I think I want to buy some of that. I am over 30 now and its time to take extra care of my skin to help prevent wrinkles!

  2. I’m also very concerned about taking good care of my skin – I’d never heard of this before, what a unique concept. I’m super skeptical too, but I would certainly give it a go!

  3. Oh! I have always wanted to try them out! Now I really want to. It is nice to see such an honest review, thanks :)

I could definitely use some of the Frownies stuff! I was a smoker and don’t take the best care of my skin. My skin is funny…wash it too much…I break out….leave it alone and rinse with water…it’s perfect!? But I know it will change the older I get.I need to find things that will work that won’t cost an arm and a leg like Botox. And injections? Yikes and no thanks! lol

Great review! Thanks for the info!

I could use some of those for sure. I am really starting to notice wrinkles taking hold. Great review!

  6. I’m starting to show a few wrinkles as I get older so I think its time for me to start looking into products that would dimish the appearance. Thanks for sharing.

  7. I am so glad that I am at the stage in my life where I don’t have to worry about wrinkles yet. (Although with four young boys in the house, I see that becoming a future worry soon. *smiles*) Toning is an important step in my skin care routine, so the Rose Water Hydrator/Toner sounds like something that would be really beneficial to me when taking care of my skin. I am definitely going to check out this product some more. Thank you for the review!

    Take care,
    Shynea

  8. I think I’m going to need to really look into this. Being in my mid 30′s (EEKK)I’m starting to see wrinkles :(
