I’m grateful for our freedoms as women in the USA–it’s just plain scarey how women are treated in some parts of the world.
I like the freedom of making my own choices. It is not overrated by any means and is due in large part to our military.

I am thankful that I am able to practice the religion of my choice, freedom of speech, and many others that we tend to take for granted. I am also thankful that as a woman, I am not treated as a lesser or an object.
MANDATORY ENTRY: I am very grateful for the FREEDOM this country and everyone living here has. I could not imagine living with constant war and chaos like other countries around the world. Especially a country that tells it’s citizens how many children they can and cannot have…no way! I am very lucky and very proud to be an American! I am extremely thankful to live in a country in which I am free to form my own opinions, philosophies, religious practices, and career pursuits without fear of censure or punishment, to not have to worry about my basic needs for security and safety not being met, and to have the search for happiness ingrained in our country’s founding documents. As a woman, I’m thankful I live in a country where I can enjoy my freedom/independence. Many women all over the world live in very oppressive circumstances.

Whenever I read about the atrocities that happen in other countries, I am grateful that things are different here in the US. There are a lot of really crazy people with crazy beliefs, but at least I’m not in jail or dead because I don’t agree with them!
