I am all for healthy and nutritional snacks for both the kids and myself. I have tried some “healthy” things that have not tasted very good. You can tell they are healthy because they lack flavor and just taste “diet like”. Finding nutritional snacks that are tasty and that the kids love has become some what of a chore. I have tried several organic treats and they seem to be the best. They have not only a great taste but the kids have no problems eating the healthy choices and even ASK for them over the junk food choices.
Recently we tried ZenSoy Pudding. We tried the chocolate flavor because that was all my grocery store had at the time. ZenSoy organic soy puddings are vegan, low in fat and sodium and provide a great source of calcium, vitamins B12, B2 and D. They are available in Chocolate, Vanilla, Chocolate & Vanilla Swirl and Banana. We found the Vanilla and the Swirl today at another store that has a better variety of organic foods. My son loves them all, but we have not tried the others yet. Since he is the pickiest of the eaters in our household, I think it’s safe to say that his opinion can be for all of us. We paid $3.79 for the 4 packs of pudding. It was reasonable for us and this is a healthy alternative that I am okay with my kids eating rather then eating the high sugar alternative. ZenSoy also comes in milk (Plain, Vanilla, Chocolate and Cappuccino flavored) and Soy on the Go milks (Chocolate, Vanilla and Cappuccino flavors).

We also tried Evolve Kefir. Evolve Kefir offers 11 live and active cultures including two probiotic strains. Evolve Kefir is not only tastes great, but aids digestion and helps the body maintain healthy immunity functions. Evolve Kefir is high in calcium, a good source of law-fat protein and unlike traditional kefir, is also an excellent source of dietary fiber offering 5 grams of soluble fiber per serving. We tried the Strawberry. We were not able to find any other flavors here at the 2 grocery stores that carry organic foods. I was a little sad because it really is great and I would love to try the other flavors. Evolve Kefir comes in Plain, Strawberry, Peach, Blueberry and Pomegranate. I did request my main store to get it in other flavors and they said they will definitely try. In the past they have always gotten things when requested so I will be checking in with them again! Evolve Kefir is very good in flavor. The consistency is the same as those drinkable yogurts that the kids like, but FAR healthier! We all enjoyed the Kefir and will be purchasing this again. We paid $3.79 for the bottle which is 32 ounces (1 liter). There are 4 servings to a bottle so we each were able to have a serving out of the bottle. The Kefir is excellent for helping regulate your digestive system too. They worked wonderfully for my son. There are many recipes that you can do with the Kefir, but we just drank the first bottle as is. The 2nd bottle we mixed some VERY chopped ice (blended like snow) and added the Kefir. It was more of a smoothie or shake consistency. It was delicious!

The Kefir sounds great!
Oh those both sound delicious!!
Those both sound oh so yummy! I will have to see if I can find some at my store. I’m on the lookout for some good healthy stuff for me!
Oh these do sound yummy. Nice to know you can find something nutritional without the terrible taste. I have a heck of a time getting my kids to eat anything good for you. Def. gonna be on the look out! Thanks
You know I’ve actually tried the Zen Soy pudding and it’s delicious! I was unaware of the Evolve Kefir, going to check it out! Thanks for sharing ;)
Thanks for sharing. I’ll have to look into these products. I love to eat healthy but don’t like products that “taste” healthy.
I’d love my sons to try this as we are cutting back on dairy products. Thanks!
Sounds yummy! I haven’t tried many soy products yet. I may look for those at the store next time.
I really appreciate this review. One of my son’s friends, who is a regular guest at our house, is now on soy products. I’ll not only share this with his mother, but these would make great items for use to serve him when he visits!
