Jackie Chan: The Spy Next Door

The Spy Next Door is a new release as of May 18, 2010. As you would expect from Jackie Chan this movie is full of funny parts and humor for the family. These days movies for families are getting harder and harder to find. Something geared towards family is not always what I would say “safe” for a family with smaller children. However, I think this movie is safe. There is no blood, shooting, or other gore that would be scary to smaller child. This was a good family movie that we enjoyed.

In true Jackie Chan fashion, The Spy Next Door delivers incredible stunts, fast action suspense and hearty family entertainment. When Bob Ho is called to babysit his neighbor’s unruly children, they accidentally blow his cover as a spy by downloading secret codes on his computer. Suddenly Bob has to kick into super agent mode and take the kids on an action-packed adventure that turns suburbia upside down. Bob fights off assassins and arch villains, narrowly escapes traps and outsmarts double-agents while somehow managing to keep the kids out of harm’s way.

The cast includes Jackie Chan, Amber Valletta, Madeline Carroll, Will Shadley, Magnús Scheving, Billy Ray Cyrus and George Lopez.
