As a busy mom of 2 children and a husband that takes on every chore under the sun and works a demanding job, there are times that I need a QUICK dinner. Sure there is the option of fast food, but it’s not only unhealthy, it’s expensive and you are hungry as soon as you are done eating!!
Red Baron makes new Pan Pizza and Pan Pasta that my family and I got to try! Let me tell you! When they say it’s ready in under 30 minutes, they are not lying!! You pop this tray in the oven, 27 minutes, pull it out, let it stand for a minute or 2 to cool and you have dinner! The first time I made JUST the pasta, the second time I made the pasta with some garlic dinner rolls. That went over great! We tried the Rotini with Meat Sauce Pan Pasta. It was great. It honestly didn’t taste like your typical frozen meal! It was great. It was good in flavor and a hearty meal the kids and hubby enjoyed! I felt like I had put hours into preparing it, rather then the genius people at Red Baron making my dinner! The Pan Pastas are available in 3 delicious flavors: Chicken Alfredo, Rotini with Meat Sauce and Mac & Cheese topped with Bacon. They retail for around $6.49, which is a GREAT price considering that it fed my family of 4. If you have BIG eaters you may want to consider making two of them, as there was JUST enough for us. I don’t do seconds, my children usually don’t but they did with these, and then my husband who takes one HUGE serving! These definitely lack no taste or quality being a frozen dinner!!
Red Baron has also introduced Pan Pizza. These come in Pepperoni Pizza, 4 Cheese Pizza, Supreme Pizza and MEAT-TRIO Pizza. My usual grocery store did not carry them so I went to another and I found them there. They did however only have the Meat-Trio and the Pepperoni. We are die hard Cheese fans so I would have liked the Cheese. The pizza was great. It was the same quality that I got from the Pan Pastas. The sauce was spiced just right, not too spicy and not too plain. This was my first time eating a Red Baron pizza in a long time so I can not compare it to there other pizzas. There was more then enough for the 4 of us to enjoy and again it was ready in under 30 minutes (I need to know who the Red Baron genius is that thought how amazing this would be!). I really loved how the crust browned, but it was rock hard. The toppings were perfectly portioned and it wasn’t over loaded. I would say “just right”. The Red Baron Pan Pizza also retails for around $6.49. I am looking forward to purchasing BOTH of these products from Red Baron in the future. I love the idea behind the dinner in under 30 minutes and the items certainly did not lack flavor of any sort!!
