I have to admit, I was probably the BIGGEST skeptic out there when it came to these Space Bags. However, after using them to tackle the NIGHTMARE of a closet that is in my master bathroom, I am now the BIGGEST fan! This closet has always been a nightmare for me. As many times as I redo things and fold things and organize it somehow always ends up a mess.

I started with the Space Bag Tote. It’s basically a SUPER large Space Bag in a neat little carry case. You can see in the first picture that I have quite the pile of blankets and a sleeping bag. I sealed the top with the little zipper that is on the bags, it was very simple and closed well the FIRST time. I then got out my vacuum and sucked the air out of the bag as instructed. I watched before my eyes as this tall pile went into this itty bitty pile! Look I am easily amused okay! I zipped it up in the fabric cubby and away I went. This one was very simple and I was off to find out what else I could stick in a Space Bag!

For lack of the skeptics, I went ahead and took a picture of the BEFORE and AFTER of the closet. I am LOVING this free shelf I have and everything is so very organized! I have no idea what I will use my other Space Bags for but my husband wants to do the things in the basement. I have several bridesmaids dresses down there. I just CAN’T part with them, however I will never wear them again so if they get a little wrinkly that is okay. So that is probably going to be the next thing to be “compressed” into a small bag. I did go ahead and put all the pillowcases in ONE smaller bag so that if I needed to access them I could easily. I went ahead and opened that bag up to see how well it went back to shape and how easy it would be. As soon as I broke the “seal” the air went in and everything was nice and neat as it was. I sealed and re-vacuumed.
I think that this is particularly nice for the basement. I don’t have to worry about anything getting wet. The bags are water proof. I went ahead and tossed the pillowcases in the bag in the shower. I already told you that I was a skeptic. I needed to see everything to believe it! Well guess what? Everything was DRY! I am in love with these Space Bags! This is a MUST have for EVERY household!! Now only if I could fit all the baby toys and books in these!!
