Mind Your Buzz-iness!
I love the social media industry, but yesterday was one of those days I could have done without. UGH! I am simply so tired of people that TRY to pick fights with another for no reason. It’s not something anyone needs. Most of us look to these outlets as simply that, an OUTLET. Not a need for more drama and more stress. I post on a few forums and yesterday I happened to post on one asking for some advise about Blackberry and some specific questions. I was getting a lot of support and people that were helping me, when suddenly this guy jumps in and says “Hey, I’ll buy your phone if your unhappy.” I was upset. I never said I was unhappy. I DID say I was frustrated trying to figure some things out and thus the reason for my post. The people were being so helpful. I ignore this idiot, and continue on in conversations with those helping me along. Another guy comes in and says “You could always eBay the phone if it doesn’t work for you.” I mean seriously?! I am asking how to do things and asking for help, not asking if anyone wants to buy my phone or looking for a place to sell it. MAN!!
Then last night I comment on a friends status on Facebook. I am writing to the FRIEND that posted his status, right?!?! Well suddenly 2-3 people he knows from way ago jump in and start attacking me because I commented in FAVOR of the iPhone. First off screw you. Second, we all have opinions, mine is not WRONG just because you don’t like the iPhone. Third, I was commenting to MY FRIEND not anyone else. I hate when people attack you for a comment you’ve left FOR SOMEONE ELSE!!!!!!!!!
Seriously, can people just mind their own business these days or is everyone out to pick a fight? It seems that no matter what you are doing these days, surfing the web, playing on a forum, ebaying Mopar performance parts, or commenting on Facebook statuses, someone has something they want to tell you, whether you ask them or not. I was always taught, If you don’t have nothing nice to say, don’t say nothing at all. I think more people need to live by this!
End Rant.

Everybody has an opinion. But then, too many people think their opinion is the only one that matters. *sigh* You are right, we all could use less drama.
