Today is Thanksgiving and as hard as the holidays are hard for me I’ve decided to list a few of the things I am thankful for. Here’s a quick list of things that come to mind as I am typing this list:
1. My family
2. My friends
3. My children
4. My husband
5. My house
6. My life
7. Everything that has taught me to be who I am
There are so many more things but for lack of room and other reasons I won’t make a list longer then anyone cares to read. Today I am preparing a meal for over 25 people. It really is going pretty stress free but I am considering fleeing at any given moment should the stress become too much! I don’t think that my family would mind! They can handle finishing up the meal! Lol! I hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving and stays safe. Stuff yourselves till your zipper bursts and remember turkey has a natural sedative so eat more or everything else and less of that unless you are planning to be that one snoring on the chair! In my family that would be dangerous!
It’s been an incrediably busy week here… so much happening. I can’t believe that we are 1/2 way through November already!! We are planning the Thanksgiving meal here and that ALWAYS makes me happy. I love Thanksgiving. The holidays are bitter sweet though because I do miss my loved ones and it’s always sad as I think about them not being with us and our family. However, this year I am trying to remain positive and I am trying to think of the good things that we will have!! I found an amazing video that really helped lift my spirit this morning I want to share:
Is that not uplifting :) I hope you found it to be. I loved it! This year Liz’s siblings are coming to town and joining us. She’s very excited as am I. I think it will be an amazing time. Her older brother will be joining us, and her younger sister. I’ve met her sister before, but not her brother. I am excited about all the food we will be having and cooking collaboratively with Liz for the meal we will be having. It should be an amazing time!! I am definitely looking forward to it. Maybe I can put some POSITIVE memories back in the book for me too ;)
I recently had a chance to try a dental mouth guard from Dentek. There are many times I am asked to do reviews on products, but I don’t always do them. This product however, was something I thought would help me at night. I grind my teeth alot at night and sometimes wake with headaches. So I opted to try this one. I was so pleased with this product! It was VERY good quality and made really well and durable. They form to your teeth so you have a nice secure fit. I’ve tried alot of different types of these products before, some were TWICE the price of this. This was a great product for the price. I definitely recommend this to anyone that deals with this type of pain or issue.
Okay, it’s Sunday here and that means it’s time for FOOD and FOOTBALL!! Have a great weekend bloggers!!
I am starting to think that area rugs are a REALLY good invention!! Why? Because seriously, I have my carpets cleaned SO often it is actually annoying! I think an area rug would actually be a good thing. I love having light colored carpets, but it’s just not logical with 2 kids!! They are forever spilling and making messes and what not. It’s just no fun anymore… LOL I think me knowing the number to the carpet cleaners by heart and them knowing my name like I am a “good” friend is not a good thing?!!!
How many of you are Black Friday Shoppers? I used to be all about catching the deals in the stores, but I must say that as I have gotten older this is something that has changed. I am ALL for the convenience of ONLINE shopping and have become a MUCH bigger fan of Cyber Monday. I love having everything delivered right to my door, no rushing for parking spots, no running into people, no waking up and having to LEAVE my house… It’s heaven!! Honestly, I am much more for the online stuff these days. I’ve become a much bigger fan of shopping this way, for every occasion. I love it!!
