Oh Dear Grocery Store

Oh the saga of the grocery store… I have a much love/hate relationship with this place. I could tell you all of the things I love, but for every thing I love there is something I don’t love. I am a HUGE fan of shopping but for some reason or another I can NOT for the life of me like grocery shopping. I shop at Festival Foods. I absolutely LOVE the grocery store and the staff there. They are amazing. They are friendly and helpful and I always find more deals then I need. They have everything you can imagine, a great produce selection, household supplies, even the best eye creams known to man! You see, here’s my problem with the grocery store. You spend all this money and a week later you have NOTHING to show for it… NOTHING. Nothing in the cupboards only to make a repeat trip and do it all over again.

I also have this problem that I look in my cart and I think I am doing AMAZING. Spending way under budget… that is until I hit the last 3 isle of the store. It gets me every time. I will have 20 things in my cart. I hit the last 3 isle and it’s over flowing. What gives? Is this a secret grocery store trick? Do they put all the needed items in the last 3 isles? Seriously. Someone enlighten me. I MUST know what the trick is to make it OUT of the grocery store with a bill under $100. Surely there is some secret plan of action.

I hate grocery shopping. With a passion. I was angry with Albertson’s when they got rid of their online grocery orders, because it meant I had to actually GO to the store. I feel your frustration.

The only way is to just buy rice. Maybe some butter to put on it too for special occasions. I feel ya, it’s scary wondering if you only had $100 if you would just be shoving cheaper, untasty things in your mouth against your will to survive.

Wow, I have not seen this theme in use for quite some time. I’m glad someone still had it for October! :o) Thanks for staying up to date and changing the links in the footer for Mindy and I.
