Oh the saga of the grocery store… I have a much love/hate relationship with this place. I could tell you all of the things I love, but for every thing I love there is something I don’t love. I am a HUGE fan of shopping but for some reason or another I can NOT for the life of me like grocery shopping. I shop at Festival Foods. I absolutely LOVE the grocery store and the staff there. They are amazing. They are friendly and helpful and I always find more deals then I need. They have everything you can imagine, a great produce selection, household supplies, even the best eye creams known to man! You see, here’s my problem with the grocery store. You spend all this money and a week later you have NOTHING to show for it… NOTHING. Nothing in the cupboards only to make a repeat trip and do it all over again.
I also have this problem that I look in my cart and I think I am doing AMAZING. Spending way under budget… that is until I hit the last 3 isle of the store. It gets me every time. I will have 20 things in my cart. I hit the last 3 isle and it’s over flowing. What gives? Is this a secret grocery store trick? Do they put all the needed items in the last 3 isles? Seriously. Someone enlighten me. I MUST know what the trick is to make it OUT of the grocery store with a bill under $100. Surely there is some secret plan of action.

My new laptop has arrived! I’ve finally got everything all moved over to it. I have a few things left to take care of then I can box up my old one and mail it off to Dell for them to do their fabulous overhaul on it and figure out what they did wrong the FIRST time that it is not working correctly. UGH! The nightmare begins. I love the new laptop so far. The keyboard on it lights up!! Yes, it lights up!! I love it!

It’s also PINK, which is a HUGE plus. I love it. I am on the look out now for some new antivirus software. I’ve used so many different ones through the years and frankly I can’t tell you which one is better, but I really want to keep this laptop in tip top shape because I am TIRED of moving files so I would love to hear your suggestions readers! Okay… I have to do something productive with my day, I think I should start with a shower?

Yes, it’s Sunday here. The kids are behind me on the computer making their Christmas lists and I am dying in the chair. I have a sinus infection and the pressure of it is making my head want to explode like an overfilled balloon. I can’t stand it. I took Nyquil last night because I couldn’t stop my running nose, sneezing, and coughing. It was annoying and I couldn’t fall asleep. After an hour an a half I finally got up drank a glass of milk and took yet another dose of Nyquil. Finally I fell asleep. What a nightmare. I hope this is very short lived because I do not know HOW long I can possibly deal with this! Yesterday I had rolled up Kleenex hanging from my nose. It was hot, but I didn’t care. I was sick of it dripping and sick of blowing it every 2.2 seconds. At any rate it worked.
The weather is really crappy and it is not doubt the blame for me being sick, but everyone else too. This is a really relaxed week here in my household and I am glad for that. Not many of these weeks that I have. I am going to bless this one! I finally turned the heat on in our house. We bought this house new 7 years ago. It’s a manufactured home, but we picked the floor plan and all the details and what not, so basically we had it built. I love it. It still is so sound and hold the heat and cool (not that we need it to hold cool right now) very well. We’ve done a handful of repairs since we moved in. Not really repairs, but upgrades or things we’ve wanted changed. One thing we did was add a fireplace. I love the fireplace. I’ve had that thing ROARING every day for the last week, as it has been a balmy 50 degrees outside. I miss Summer… Come back!
