What seriously has society come too?

Naturally in life if we have a good expierence we tell a few people and that is really as far as things go. If we have a bad experience we are peeved and we tell alot of people and generally we do so over and over because we are peeved. This is how 99.999999% of America including even the FINEST people deal with things. Seriously, it’s not just the ones with issues, or the ones you people think have issues. I follow on Twitter and read the blog of Dooce. Recently they purchased a wash machine NEW for $1300 and it has failed time and time again. You can follow my link if you want to know all the details, but of course she shares her story. Odd? Not at all. But because she has a LARGE audience people say it’s wrong. No more wrong then me telling my mother-in-law all of my horrible expieriences which are then shared with MILLIONS of people. She’s a barber. Let me tell you how many people in my city hear my stories and experiences. If I have a bad expierience she’s the first one I call. The next day, she proceeds to tell hundreds of people, who in turn tell hundreds of people… it’s a train. It’s what happens. If companies want this type of thing not to happen then they really need to BACK their products and services. Recently my expierence with Sprint when they failed to replace a phone in which was INSURED at $7.00 a month for over a year… 7×12=$84.00 that they pocketed in JUST insurance on a phone in which they refused to replace. A phone which would not answer and no buttons would respond to be “pushed”. But none the less, Sprint now has 3 less phone lines in which they are getting MY money for each month. I proceeded to move to another company that WILL value my business and dollar. My whole point is… if we can’t share our expieriences with one another to be ‘wise consumers’ then what is the point? I personally want to get the best buy for my buck… and any help with hearing positive and negative stories in helping me make a smart choice is very much appreciated. Am I the only one?
