You know the drill!!

I was home tonight and after the kids went to bed… I was FIREY with energy… You know… that mommy energy that you can do anything you want too. I was SO tired before they went to bed. After they were snoring, I felt like I drank 10 pots of coffee!! I wanted to run a marathon!! No way was sleep in order!! I am sure it had nothing to do with the little nap I managed to get before hubby left for work… LOL But that’s besides the point. The dog is chewing on a nasty smelling bone behind my chair that is making me WANT to pass out… other then that I am good. Note to self… NEVER buy the dog Peanut Butter basted rawhide bones again. In case you have a dog and haven’t tried them, DON’T. The dog loves them, but it smells like someones sweaty socks are right under my chair and have been there for a month. I get up and shew him to the other side of the room, but as soon as I sit, he comes back. He needs me next to eat his bone I guess… YUCK!! Anyway… So I did what I enjoying doing when it’s quite and just me… SCRAP. I was on a creative block so I headed over to Hodge Podge to check out the challenge. This weeks challenge was to scrap a quirk about someone you love. I chose my daughter and her desire to explore EVERYTHING! Here’s my layout:

It’s a simple layout but I love it. You can see it here at DST with the credits. The journaling reads: passion to explore. I love that you are so interested in learning about everything. You never want to stop learning. Every where you go, everything you do you see as an opportunity to learn. You simply amaze me more and more each and every day. August 2008 – The photo is her and my brother skipping stones and exploring things in a shallow part od a stream at Pamperin Park. So like my daughter. It took the better part of 20 minutes to convince my son to go in… Mariah had her shoes off before I could say “okay”… But I love that about her.
