I decided to scrap a page today… actually I did a few, but I can’t show you some of them… the products haven’t been released just yet. Let’s just say Blythe has been SUPER busy!! She’s been creating some wonderful products coming soon!! Anyhow, here’s the layout that I did today with the lovely Backyard Garden kit that she released last week. I love the realistic elements in this kit. I didn’t have time to play until today so I am a little behind… Check it out…

I know I just posted about Halloween, and I am starting to work on fall layouts, but how many of you are working on Christmas projects already? I always wonder how far behind I REALLY am. I know it takes alot of time to get my cards made and I do the photography for the cards too so I have to get that done. I have to run to the local scrap supply shoppe and pick up some things to start my cards. I have no idea what I am going to do this year. Not the foggiest idea. Usually I see something I like and try to incorporate those ideas, but I haven’t had too much time to look around this year. I grabbed some Memory Makers to take up to “Little House on the Prarie” with us this weekend, but I didn’t see much in them for CARDS. Lots of layouts and awesome projects but not much for cards. Any ideas? When do you all begin working on them?
And quickly before I forgot… has anyone seen the St. Martin villa rentals? WOW!! These are a total destination getaway!! I could totally seen vacationing there. I wonder if any of my readers have been there? If you have drop me a line… we are seriously considering that for our next vacation and I’d love to hear some first hand expierience!!

I totally can’t tell you *JUST* yet, but I will be able too in a few weeks. I am SUPER duper excited… I CAN however give you a few little hints… It has to do with my hybrid project of the baby shower gift boxes… and oh maybe… ummm them getting…. ummmm…
Can you totally GUESS? I am so stoked!! I am thrilled!! I am beyond words in excitement. It’s not the first time for me, but the first time as a HYBRID “babe” so I am thrilled… *YAY*
GO ME!!
Speaking of baby shower… I still have to go with Liz to look at strollers. She got a ton of gift cards for her shower and no stroller. She really is going to need one since she will have the baby, the diaper bag, she’s a first time mom and you know we first time moms carry extra everything AND she’s got her stepson living with her full time. I want to help her pick out one that will work good for them.

How on earth could I do it!!!??? I did though! This past weekend we went up to hubby’s aunt’s house. It’s amazing up there. She lives in Wausaukee. It’s a very VERY tiny town. Her house is very much like living on Little House On The Prarie, only a bit worse. LOL Not in a bad way. I think Little House on The Prarie had a little more technology then she does!! She has no electricity. Granted she has no electricity bill, but none the less. She does has lights but everything is run off of gas, or her gas powered generator. It’s amazing to see how she’s adapted. She JUST got the generator by the way. She had too. She’s getting older and her legs are no longer in a great condition to be walking the path down to the lake to bath in the lake. So she had to put in a shower. And they recently added a toliet and got rid of the outhouse too. It’s all very amazing to me. She does have a refrigerator that runs on gas but no big freezer or anything. She makes one trip into town a month for some basic groceries. We went out there because FIL and hubby had to put in a new sink for her in the kitchen. That went well. We had a nice dinner. Then we took the kids on a couple nature walks around the house on the property. We also took them for some ATV rides. They totally loved all of it. However, I forgot the camera for it all. I am so disappointed. I never forget the camera, but I did this time!! I have no pictures and the kids totally had a blast!! Nothing to scrap, nothing to save the memory but this blog entry!! I wonder if a mobile router would work up there for the laptop *snickers* I can bring the laptop, but once the battery dies I am SOL… her “outlets” are not regular plugs, they are converted because they run from generator and solar… so they are this special plug in. I told my hubby as hard as it was to be without technology, power, a microwave, a toaster and all of that for a day, we must do it again. The kids had such a blast!! And this time, yes this time, I will remember the camera!!

I’ve been so busy that I haven’t been able to get much done for scrapping. I have however been out shopping. I’ve been enjoying some deals… I am in love with the Fab Fridays over at Scrap Artist. Anyone else? They have some amazing deals there on Fridays for only $1.00 each!!
I’ve been calling around too looking at some family health insurance. Hubby does get some through his employer but we seem to be paying so much out of his check and then we end up paying that if not MORE out of pocket too and I am just fed up with that… so I am checking into alternatives and seeing our options.
I really want to get some more projects finished too. Just went I thought I went 100% digital I found that I am really loving some HYBRID projects. And guess what…. my scrap closet needed some MAJOR attention so I cleaned it out, purged and threw out a ton of stuff and packed up a bunch of other stuff!! I have to go threw and dig out all the ribbons and flowers and little things that I can use for projects. I think alot of the bigger things can stay packed up! I am not sure… I guess we have to see… I might evolve more and need to unpack it all!! LOL Then I really will need to make the room in the basement!! EEK!!
